Major Accomplishments
Over Birmingham's 11 year career he has completed transactions for over 4.5 million square feet of retail space. He has an expertise in the development of a disposition plan of non strategic retail space completed on behalf of Service Merchandise, TJX Companies and Ames. Birmingham has also developed and directed targeted project leasing campaign for many of the regions top developers and owners of shopping centers. Birmingham has also developed the store penetration strategy for several national retailers throughout New England, Upstate New York and nationwide.
Portfolio Disposition
• Coordinated the sale of Leasehold interest of 25 Ames stores.
• Coordinated the disposition of 13 Service Merchandise Locations in New England
• Disposed of excess real estate on behalf of TJX and Sports Authority in various locations.
Tenant Representation
• Responsible for tenant representation including site selection and market analysis for The TJX Companies in specific markets in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, and The Sports Authority for New England and Upstate New York.
• Responsible for the strategic expansion plan including site selection and market analysis for DSW and Filene's Basement for New England.
• Responsible for the strategic expansion in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Rhode Island for OfficeMax
